Welcome to Trinity!

Trinity is a church in the heart of Nottingham. We're learning what it means to follow Jesus together — with a vision to see the church on fire and the city alive. Whoever you are and wherever you're coming from, there's a place for you here.

WELCOME LUNCH

Our Welcome Lunch is a great place to start if you're new or want to get more involved — hear from lead pastors Jonny and Amy, meet other newcomers, and find out how to connect more deeply.

The next one is 10th May after the 11am service.

TRINITY EMAILS

We send a regular monthly email with an overview of what’s on at Trinity. You can also keep up to date with what’s happening by following us on Instagram and by exploring this website.

COME

We meet on Sundays at 9am, 11am and 6.30pm for worship, preaching and prayer. No dress code, no sign-up needed — just come along. Each service has its own flavour, so try a few to find your fit. If you have any questions, look out for someone with an orange lanyard or head to the Connect stand.

Can't make it in person? We livestream every week — join us online.

BELONG

We believe following Jesus is something we do together. Discipleship Groups are central to life at Trinity — spaces to explore faith, grow, and build real community. We also have groups specifically for students. Find out more on our Groups page.

SERVE

Being part of Trinity also means to play your part in serving our community. Everyone has a part to play! We have loads of different serving teams, and we encourage you to read more and find out how you can be involved.

GIVE

One of the ways we express our gratitude to God is by giving generously to the work of the church. God doesn’t need our money — we give in response to what He’s done, as an act of worship.

PRAY

Prayer is central to all we do as we seek to see the church on fire and the city alive. Take a look at our prayer page to join in our rhythms and find out ways to engage with prayer.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Our services are informal and relaxed — we hope you'll feel at home straight away!

Arrive a few minutes early and you'll be greeted by our Home Team (look for the orange lanyards). They can answer questions, help you find a seat in the sanctuary upstairs, and point you to Trinity Kids if you have children.

A typical service runs like this: a short welcome, sung worship through music, a time of prayer, some time for updates, and a sermon of around 25 minutes based on a Bible passage. Afterwards we respond in prayer and a response song. Once a month we share communion together.

The close of the service is relaxed as people receive prayer — feel free to stay and chat or pray afterwards.

  • You can find information about our location, public transport and parking here.

  • We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have.

Our car park is reserved for team and people with disabilities, and our car parking steward will be able to help you find a space. The main sanctuary is accessible via the ramp door from the carpark, and there is similarly a ramp at the front door into the home space.

If you have any concern, please get in touch via info@trinitychurchnottingham.org prior to your visit so we can help make the necessary arrangements.

  • We don’t have a dress code at Trinity; feel free to wear what you feel most comfortable in.

  • Anyone can come to our services, whether you are a committed Christian or know nothing about church!

  • We make lots of space to receive the Holy Spirit together and to encounter God. We may invite people forward to receive prayer ministry but please feel under no pressure to do so. If you would appreciate a pastoral conversation in addition to prayer ministry, please just let one of the team know as we offer a wider Soul Care ministry.

  • For communion services, everyone will be offered a wafer or gluten free alternative. We ask that people sip from the communion cup rather than dipping their wafers, as this is understood to be the more hygienic option.
