PRAYER IS CENTRAL TO ALL WE DO AS WE SEEK TO SEE THE CHURCH ON FIRE AND THE CITY ALIVE
LENT 2025
Lent is a season in the church calendar of intentional prayer and fasting as we remember Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness and prepare ourselves again to celebrate the events of Easter. Here at Trinity, we’re pressing into prayer for this season in two key ways by opening up our Prayer Room and Allotment: find out more below!
All of this kicks off on Ash Wednesday, 5th March, with an ashing service at 7am here at The Auction House.
The Prayer Room
Each Wednesday we’re opening up our Prayer Room for bookable slots of an hour of prayer (from 8am to 5pm), beginning with a communal prayer gathering at 7am. Book your slot here.
The Allotment
Each Sunday we're opening up our Allotment for a time of contemplative and practical prayer from 9-10am before heading over to Trinity to grab a hot drink, and be ready for the 11am service! Sign up here.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL PODCASTS THROUGH HOLY WEEK
Beginning Sunday 13th April, we’re sharing a series of short daily reflections on our Teachings Podcast (available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify) to mark Holy Week. We are slowing down and setting ourselves apart to remember the final events of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday through to the empty tomb a week later on the first Easter morning.
DAILY PRACTICES
Everyday, all over the city, we share a simple rhythm of prayer. We start each day by praying through a Psalm, at Midday we pause to pray the Lord’s Prayer, and we end the day in reflection as we pray the Examen.
