Our journey together towards wholeheartedness
We know that life can be messy and hard at times.
At Trinity, we believe pastoral care is how we love and support each other through these seasons while staying close to Jesus. We can’t fix each other’s problems, but we can walk with you and help you turn to Jesus, who can do all things.
One of our values at Trinity is Wholehearted. This means being “all in” for Jesus and bringing your whole self to Him. It’s also about growing in healing and freedom as we become the people God made us to be.
If you are new to Trinity, we invite you to come to our Welcome Lunch and join a Discipleship Group. These are great places to find community and grow in your faith.
Beyond this community, you may sometimes need extra support through pastoral care. Here are some ways you can access this:
The Pastoral Oversight Team

We hope to work together to make Trinity Church Nottingham a place where everyone can experience the love of God and the love of a friend.
PASTORAL PRAYER
Our pastoral prayer team can meet with you 2 or 3 times over a few months. They will listen and pray with you. This is helpful if something in your life is significantly affecting your relationship with God and others. In these conversations and prayer times we hope to stand with you to bring this before God and see Him work.

ENCOUNTER PRAYER
This is a one-hour prayer session with two people who will guide you as you meet with Jesus. Encounter prayer is often helpful if there’s a memory, thought pattern, or belief that is holding you back. Many people find new freedom and healing during this time.

FAMILY LIFE
We know that the seasons of engagement, marriage, and parenting can be full of joy but also bring particular challenges. If you need help in these areas, we are here to support you.
