Jonny Hughes in conversation with Dr. Jerry Sittser (Professor Emeritus of Theology and Senior Fellow at Whitworth University). This is the second of a four-part conversation on how the history of the Church can inform and provide hope for our own faith and ministry practices.

Jerry shares about a challenge that took place in the Church as it grew, where as people grew, the leadership had to ask the question of how to pursue formation, and a significant answer to this was a catechesis process. The Benedictine movement pursued a particular kind of formation, and how it interacted with the wider world may provide helpful guidance for how we are to follow Jesus today.
