Justice Matters

This week Jonny begins our new series in Luke's gospel by looking at Jesus' Kingdom manifesto in Luke's gospel (Luke 4). He reminds us that just as Jesus centres his kingdom movement on the year of Jubilee, so his followers are to join him in in working for justice as we seek His kingdom come on earth as in heaven. The ongoing need for this has come to the fore in recent weeks, and the people of God have an opportunity to pursue this kingdom vision as we lament, repent, depend on the Spirit and focus on Jesus.
